New Year's in Champagne!

On Thursday, December 31, we're doing New Year's a little differently at Vintage '78.

At 5:00 p.m. in Kansas City, it will already be midnight in Champagne — so we're ringing in 2027 seven hours early with New Year's in Champagne!

We'll open the doors at 4:30, pour Champagne for a 5:00 p.m. New Year's toast, put out a bountiful spread of cheese, charcuterie, salads, risotto and more, and then do something we've never quite done before:

Raid the cellar.

Because Vintage '78 closes January 1–6 for our annual winter break, nearly every open bottle behind the bar will be fair game for the evening — potentially close to 200 different wines.

We'll pour tasting portions throughout the party so you can explore as much of the cellar as you'd like. Cocktails, Champagne and bottles will also be available for purchase.

$150 per person + tax & gratuity
$198 per person all-in

Tickets are nonrefundable but may be transferred to friends.

We're keeping this intimate — approximately 42–44 guests — and we're giving our Wine Club members, regulars and friends first access before we announce it publicly.

You are welcome to purchase tickets for friends and make a night of it together.

Midnight is overrated anyway.
